Fuzzy Electric Ocean was performed recorded, composed, and mixed by Scott Rubin in 2021 in Chicago.
This project came out of a conversation with artist olula negre about distortion and leaning into digital grit. Later that night, I plugged my viola into my guitar pedals, turned all the dials to 10, and started recording and editing.
